The objective of the Level 4 Award Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualifications are to develop learners’ understanding of theory and practice relating to their quality assurance role in education. It will provide knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective quality assurance practitioner. The units combine both theoretical and practical knowledge in the education profession and will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of effective performance, planning and accountability and development.
Successful completion of these qualifications will enable learners to gain an internal quality assurance role or to develop within that role, and to work as a team member of the internal quality assurance practitioners. Learners will also be able to work in a variety of other roles within education administration and/or management.
In order to sign up for HEAD’s Level 4 Award Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, learners must have working experiences in the education sector. At the same time, they must complete the HEAD Accreditation Requirements or the training courses on Quality Management Systems in education.

Duration and Delivery:
The program is designed for full-time learning, online, or Hybrid learning in 3 months.
Assessment and verification:
All subjects of the HEAD programs are evaluated by the Ofqual UK.Gov, the accreditation system and its partners are the OTHM UK. Learners must demonstrate mastery of knowledge and attain the competencies detailed in the program Syllabus.
- Learners from age 18
- Having completed basic training courses on requirements of Quality Management Systems in education.
- Having obtained at least 1 year work experience in education.
English requirements:
- English reached a minimum of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) level B2 or equivalent.
Programs achieve comprehensive recognition globally. After graduation, learners will be received UK National Recognized Diploma, according to the regulatory framework accredited and recognized by Ofqual UK and RQF (Regulated Qualification Framework).

OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 4 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent level to Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
After graduation, learners can work as an internal auditor or an independent auditor for quality management and accreditation systems in education, especially higher education.
Through holding the globally accredited and recognized, compulsory certificate in the field of quality management, learners can also enroll in higher education programs to obtain a Bachelor, Master and Doctor degrees on Quality Management & Accreditation.
