HEAD Conformity Assessment Declaration
HEAD – Higher Education Accreditation Division is a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB), responsible for carrying out audits and conformity assessments only for Higher Education Institutions at both the institutional level and programmatic level.
We conduct our audits in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17065:2012 (Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes, and services) and international regulations and guidelines for the higher education sector such as European Quality Assurance Framework for Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) and Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.

HEAD assures all involved about the legal and contractual matters, impartiality of management of impartiality, liability and financing, non-discriminatory conditions, confidentiality and publicly available information as defined and requirements in ISO/IEC 17065: 2012

HEAD is a the suitable organizational structure and top management and a mechanism for safeguarding impartiality as mentioned in ISO/IEC 17065:2012.

resource requirement
HEAD has adapted the resource requirements, including certification body personnel, resources for evaluation activities and outsourcing which are contained in ISO/IEC 17065:2012 and international regulations in higher education sectors. All our staff members have not only passed the Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (Ofqual Accredited No. : 603/5203/6) but are also the expert in education.

process requirements
HEAD follows the process requirements strictly, including application, application review, evaluation, review, certification decision, certification documentation, directory of certified products, surveillance, changes affecting certification, termination, reduction, suspension or withdrawal of certification, records, and complaints and appeals as defined in ISO/IEC 17065:2012.

All our audit programs for HEIs take place in the context of a certification scheme. HEAD audit is strictly controlled, starting with the application for accreditation and up to the evaluation, review and accreditation decision.
